Purpose of Our Annual Gala and Auction
The Custer County Foundation held its first annual Gala & Auction in December of 2005. Proceeds from the event are incorporated into the funds of the Foundation and returned to Custer County in the form of grants for charitable organizations and scholarships for non-traditional students. Through the success of the Gala & Auction the Foundation has reinvested $427,995 to support local organizations and students. The success of the event would not be possible without the generous support of the many businesses, individuals, guests, and volunteers.
