Now is the time to invest in Nebraska’s future!

Make a planned gift.
Make a difference.
Make your tax bill smaller.

In 2006, when the new state Charitable Tax Credit became effective, Nebraska became one of the few states in the U.S. to offer a tax credit to individuals and businesses for charitable giving. The tax credit not only delivers attractive tax savings for Nebraskans, it also encourages support for many of the charitable organizations that work to address pressing community needs throughout the state.

The Custer County Foundation greatly appreciates the donations that have helped us grow. Managing those funds left in our charge is one the Custer County Foundation accepts with pride. Pride in serving the donors by meeting the priorities you stipulate for your gifts. Pride in being able to add to the quality of life we enjoy here in Custer County. The Foundation provides each of us with the opportunity to support local community initiatives through one county organization that benefits all.

Our steady growth is driven by your generosity, ideas, and beliefs that the Custer County Foundation can make a difference in the lives of the people who live and work in Custer County. The Foundation exists because of your desire to give back to the community where you have lived, prospered, worked, and played.

You can be a part of the Custer County Foundation. Your dream of sharing “The Good Life” can come true by establishing a fund in your name, in the name of your business, or in the name of someone you wish to honor or memorialize. The Foundation accepts both restricted gifts and unrestricted contributions. Come in and find out what best suits your dream.

A Legacy in Your Name

Would you like to establish a designated fund or permanently support one or more of your favorite nonprofits? Or endow your own scholarship fund? Or provide support for a special area of concern such as the arts, the environment, or education through a field of interest fund? You can make it happen through the Foundation’s Leave a Legacy Society. Creating an unrestricted fund gives our communities the flexibility to meet changing needs throughout the years.
